I engaged the services of Lindsay Hester in 2006-2007 to assist me in updating and refreshing the look of several rooms in my home. I was extremely pleased with the result, which included updated chairs and window treatments in my kitchen, a new look for our home office and an updated window treatment for a second office area. Additionally, Lindsay helped me evaluate existing accessories, decorative objects and art work throughout the home.

With clever rearrangement she gave a new fresh look to many areas, and where necessary, made recommendations and shopped for items to complete “the look”. Lindsay is easy to work with, responsive to the homeowner’s ideas and completely reliable. I would highly recommend Lindsay to anyone contemplating an interior design project.

I’m not even sure where to begin in expressing my thanks and gratitude for your design work on my home. It’s abundant and endless!

Let me start by saying that I absolutely LOVE my house! My home is a very big part of my life. It’s my sanctuary. Thanks to your expertise, creative ideas, guidance and hard work, it is perfect!! I had a vision of what I wanted my place to look like before I began the remodel. You not only grasped my vision, you enhanced it beyond anything I could have imagined. You are absolutely amazing and I truly believe you descended from the design heavens.

In addition to being incredibly organized, always on time and mindful of the budget, you always provided me with the perfect options and the perfect recommendations. You never missed a detail and there was never a challenge too big for you. You were also incredibly professional, respected by every trade and vendor we dealt with and also just a true joy to work with. Your roll-up-your-sleeves, hands-on style and above-and-beyond approach were impressive to say the least. From sitting on the floor in tile shops laying out options, trips to the stone yard and cement factory, you sorting and handpicking porch stone in my garage to placing 1200 paint samples on every wall in my house, you always went above and beyond and had no limits to making a happy client. You never missed a beat and there was no stone unturned (figuratively and literally).

There is not a person that walks in my house that doesn’t marvel over the unique touches and great work. The design work on my giant wall mirror is outstanding (it is one of many “awe” pieces in my place) along with the kitchen & bath cabs, tile design in showers and both porches, my closets, fireplace and the list goes on and on and on. What I didn’t know when we started this process was how many details that needed to be thought through, researched, designed and decided. You were absolutely wonderful at guiding me through the process, keeping things organized, always being available and constantly providing updates. You made the experience enjoyable rather than stressful which is a true testament to your work ethic.

It’s not often enough that you find people who have found the perfect match of passion for what they love to do and their profession. You are truly an amazing example of that. I have incredibly fond memories of our experience. I love and appreciate my home every moment I’m here and I can’t thank you enough for that.
